Zeedonk. The Best of Both Worlds.

So…

My name is Aaron, and my family’s insane.

Everyone says that, I know, but consider the Zeedonk.

A zeedonk (or zonkey) is the bastard child of a zebra and a donkey. I’m not a bastard child. That’s not why I bring this up. I merely draw your attention to this abonimation of an animal for the mere fact that I once brought up its existence whilst in the car with my brother and sister on the way to see Napoleon Dynamite… at least five years ago.

Five years ago… and since then, I haven’t been able to shake off the nickname. My brother has even shortened it further to ‘Donk’ or even ‘Z.’ Somehow they’ve even gotten my father to call me Zeedonk. (Also, they’ve put it on my cell phone statement. No joke.)

So I have recently resolved to escape from this family, across the country to New York City. Just kidding. I love my family. It’s not really an escape, more like a much needed extended vacation. Five days until the big move!

So follow me on my journey… A lot’s going to be happening.

I’ll be….

• Doing a “How To: Survive Your First Apartment in New York City”… especially since I’ll be in a sixth floor walk-up, possibly the first of my many mistakes.

• Talking about my transition to full-fledged adulthood as I ! ! turn 21 ! ! in a few weeks.

• Showing you the path I’ll take to ultimately being a Hot Shot Producer, starting with my senior year of college and the internship process.
